SWIFTY FONT ARCHIVE 1985 - 1988 I talked at TYP08 this autumn and specially for the lecture I dug out some Swifty type designs going as far back as I could remember !. The top few are from ?ÄòFRESH?Äô the student magazine I designed in the 3Rd year of my degree at Manchester Polytechnic. Hand drawn initially but then computer generated type - produced on a apple mac plus which was bought by the college the year they launched in the uk 1986. In the middle some Brody inspired type I drew up whilst working at the Face about 1987. And just above two collages done in 1987/8 scrapbook work whilst squatting in Clapham . PAGE PAGE
