FOSTERS ICE STREET ART ?Äò95/96 Way back in 1995 I creative directed this campaign for Fosters Ice . In total I commissioned 35 artists to create their own one off billboard. In 1995 it was kentish Town London where we had the treat of seeing Futura 2000 do his live , The year later we took the idea to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester. Back then most of these people were known as ?ÄòGrafitti?Äô artists but I coined a new phrase ?ÄòStreet?Äô art - the first time the word was used in print and helped set off a global phenomena that we know today. Oh and also it won a media week award for the best use of a single medium in 1996 ! PAGE
